Why Study in Ireland ?

         Ireland has been popular choice for students across the world who wish to study abroad. Quality education, facilities for higher studies and research, its beautiful countryside and unique culture are among the factors which attracts students to Ireland. Many universities in Ireland rank good among world universities. Ireland offers wide range of courses at affordable cost. Students can get admission to bachelors and masters programme very easily because of the ease of admission and visa process. Courses range from arts and science to engineering, medicine, pharmacy etc. Ireland higher education system consists of universities, specialist colleges and institutes of technology. It is easy for one who have graduate or post graduate degree in Ireland to get a work permit immediately after the course. Colleges provide placement assistance also. Around ten percent of the total workforce in Ireland are non Irish. Proficiency in English is a minimum requirement for international students. Preparatory English courses are available at many universities and also at separate English tuition schools.
The visa process requires students to submit:
  • A letter of acceptance onto a course offered by a recognized institution
  • Evidence that fees have been paid
  • Evidence of medical insurance
  • Evidence of sufficient funds to cover living expenses – currently set at a minimum of €7,000 (~US$8,900) per year
  • Passport which is valid for at least six months after the course will end.
